Keep your vivid colors from fading!

Hey guys!

Anyone have trouble keeping your bright colors up? Here's a few quick tips to help! First off, hold off shampooing immediately after your color service for at least 24 hours, longer if possible. When it does come time for shampooing, make sure you are using GOOD color safe, and sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. Typically we like to recommend the LANZA Color Care or VERB hydrating lines. Keep water as cold as you can handle it - the hotter the water, the more color going down the drain. Try to go a few days between washing too, the more you wash the faster it fades out, so utilize dry shampoo on those dirty hair days.

Also, something to keep in mind, these colors are NOT meant to be permanent, and they are a bit higher maintenance than more natural colors. However, a little extra effort, you can keep your colors bright, and extend the length between touch up appointments!
